The Construction Process

Winchester Construction Company's new President Mike Campbell oversees every project with support from two key professionals -- a project manager who will be your primary contact from start to finish, and a field supervisor who is on site to coordinate the daily construction activities. Our project managers and field supervisors have years of experience and formal training, know every phase of the construction process, and enjoy working in an environment focused on superior quality and uncompromising client service. 

For most projects, we set up a  construction trailer that serves as our on-site work center, with computer and telephone links to our office headquarters. This enables efficient communication; provides responsive support to those in the field; and helps to ensure orders, shipments, and timelines are accurate and on schedule. 

Building a quality custom home requires both consistency and accountability. To maintain quality control over key functions, we have in-house capabilities in excavation, concrete, carpentry, brickwork, stonework, masonry, and painting. In other trades such as plumbing, electrical and heating, we only use subcontractors who have proven themselves time and again as having the same commitment to quality and service that we expect from our own employees. 

Throughout the process, we will schedule regular progress meetings with you to provide updates, answer your questions, and review any decisions that need to be made to keep the job on track. We believe that good management practices and communication are keys to make any project more efficient and cost effective.
